INSEE has set up a wiki farm based on XWiki. It allows their teams to be able to launch document databases on demand to different users.

INSEE has started by using the open source version of the XWiki platform, installed by an internal engineer. After advancing the project internally, INSEE wanted to benefit from the XWiki's assistance. The objective of the project was to migrate the existing content from an application to a more modern architecture, based on XWiki.

Furthermore, INSEE benefited from XWiki's training and support services for the software. It has also sponsored the development of a version of XWiki compatible with the PostgreSQL database engine.
