Responsibilities

Integrated within our Product team, but also working with key stakeholders of the company, you will:

  • Develop concepts, user experience, interfaces, graphics and layouts for XWiki products, including a new project called "Wiki 3.0"
  • Iterate on ideas and sketches towards finalized design proposals
  • Document prototypes and mockups for implementation
  • Improve information architecture and hierarchy
  • Review current product design to propose improvements and implement fixes
  • Exchange with the business teams to understand and define the positioning of XWiki products
  • Respect deadlines and deliver good quality projects
  • Bring your contribution to the team through new ideas and concepts

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years experience in Web Software UX Design
  • Passion and enthusiasm for UX & design
  • Experience with tools such as Penpot, Inkscape, Krita (or proprietary alternatives)
  • Experience with translating designs into HTML and CSS
  • Creative flair, a "can do" attitude and a flexible approach
  • Strong knowledge of UX techniques both for research and implementation
  • Familiarity with usability principles, W3C standards, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
  • Good knowledge of CSS and HTML
  • Openness to feedback and willing to make changes to your proposals
  • Attention to detail, self-motivation and eagerness to learn
  • Very good communication skills, ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Experience with Knowledge Management and Editing tools a plus
  • Experience with working with Open Source communities a plus
  • Very good spoken and written English skills. French is a plus.
