Dear XWiki community,
Most of you will probably have already heard about the war taking place in Ukraine at this moment. There are millions of people whose lives have been turned upside down by last weeks' events. A million and a half refugees have already had to leave their country. Over 200,000 have come to Romania, where part of the XWiki team is based.
Our hearts are with the people of Ukraine and we are doing our best locally to help them navigate through this situation. As a company, we're supporting some of our local NGOs, and our team members are also making personal contributions. Last week we received questions about how people outside Romania could help support these efforts. As a result, we want to share some initiatives with you that we trust as a team and where you can contribute.
If you can help, here are some easy ways to do it:

- Salvati copiii - directly on the website
- Red Cross from the website, the Emag shopping site, or the Revolut payments app (if you happen to be using it).
These organizations are involved in helping vulnerable people, particularly children in need. They currently support Ukrainian people coming to Romania with food, shelter, and other necessities. We recognize there are many more causes worth supporting, so this is by no means an exhaustive list. All contributions towards helping the people affected by these terrible events are valuable.
