XWiki @ Javapolis

I arrived in Antwerp from London yesterday evening. I was supposed to meet Ludovic (the CEO of XWiki) for the first time on my way onwards, but due to a late train I had to wait until my arrival at the hotel to actually meet him. This may seem surprising given I have been working for XWiki for more than one month, but our Intranet solution is so efficient that it had not really been necessary.

Anyway, XWiki is in Antwerp now for Javapolis, one of Europe's greatest gathering of Java developers and related companies. Ludovic will be talking here on Friday during one of the meetings. On Thursday, 16:15 Stand n°7 Ludovic and Vincent will be holding a special showcase to launch the Release 1.0 Beta 1 of XWiki.

On the whole, we are all quite busy over here with the release due in such a short time and demonstrations taking place all the day long ... I am learning much in the process. It is so interesting to find out the various ways a wiki can be useful for specific customer needs !

I will keep you informed about what is happening in Antwerp on a daily basis, next article tomorrow to tell you how well the release show went... for it will !
