Last week was a busy one, here at XWiki. We've attended Paris Open Source Summit 2017, where we had 4 talks on different subjects related to collaboration and the Open Source culture.

Ludovic, our CEO, hosted a track on One job, one solution!, an extensive discussion and, at times, debate on the importance and effects open source solutions bring to the business environment. Specialists from Avencall, Axelor, Matrix, BlueMind, Maarch, Nexedi, Open-DSI, ATOL C&D, Jaguar Network, and France Labs joined him in room CLAP. The full list of talks is available here.

During the track, he thoroughly treated the subject of Open Source Applications competing against proprietary on-premise and Cloud Solutions. See his presentation below.

In the same track, Vincent, our CTO, had an intervention on the benefits of using XWiki as an alternative to Confluence or Sharepoint, and how the digital transformation can impact the success of a company. Check out his presentation below.

Aaron, part of the XWiki research team, had an intervention on Cryptpad and the benefits it brings as a secure online collaboration tool. See his presentation below.

In the Dematerialisation track, Ludovic tackled the subject of "How can traditional companies benefit from tools used by the leading tech companies", with an in-depth analysis of XWiki and its clients.

These two days have been a true pleasure, we have met incredible people, made connections and the most important, we helped strengthening the Open Source community.
